I am an architectural designer, artist and teacher. Born in Sydney, Australia, I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sydney and then undertook all of my architectural studies & qualifications in London. I then lived and worked in the UK, Italy and the USA over a course of 18.5 years. I've worked for both various sized offices and design studios within the UK, USA and Australia and as a registered sole trader- on projects within the sectors of Masterplan design, Private Residential (new and existing build), Community projects, Hospitality & Retail (boutique hotel teams and restaurants), Commercial and Urban.
I have been a part of community-focused projects in the south of Mexico working alongside local craftspeople and builders, as well as leading a community group to establish a Bush Food garden with native edible plants in Sydney, Australia with the input of First Nation's horticulturalists. I have also exhibited my sculpture and ceramics work in Mexico (Estudio Abierto, Oaxaca City Mexico 2022), Sydney, Australia (Conversations on Shadow Architecture, Dominic Mersch Gallery 2022), NYC ( De Construkt Gallery 2019) and in Bella Italia (UNIDEE Cittadellaarte Fondazione 2016).
I have taught within the Department of Architecture and the Built Environment at Nottingham Trent University in the UK, as well as teaching English as a second language to adults one-to-one in Europe and NYC, to groups of students between the ages of 7-18 and levels A1 and C1 to prepare them for undertaking both the Cambridge and Trinity Exams in Europe. I have also taught group art-making and ceramic-making classes to adults and adolescents in both Australia and the UK.
