Fionnuala offers a unique and culturally sensitive approach to architecture and design. Her design method is informed by her experiences living and working within various-sized architecture offices and art or design studios in London (UK), NYC (USA), Sydney and Melbourne (Aust) and Oaxaca (Mexico). She holistically factors in the context of a place or space; such as working with the features of a location, an awareness of local culture and tendencies, the physical site and building conditions, and local suppliers. Her professional experience in architecture has granted her the technical skills required to deliver developed technical drawings for all stages of realising a project. In terms of her client approach, she provides a personalised service to meet and realise the personal needs and requirements of a client. This approach is influenced by her teaching experiences and her bilingual language skills.
